ARC Applications and Approvals
To all Temple Hills homeowners, as per the Temple Hills Restrictive Covenants, Article VI:
“No construction, reconstruction, remodeling, alteration or addition to any structure, building, fence, wall, road, drive path or improvement of any nature shall be constructed without obtaining the prior written approval of the Committee as to location, plans and specifications.”
Your Temple Hills ARC is composed of volunteers who meet, if needed, at 6pm on the second Thursday of each month prior to the THHA Board of Directors meeting. Note that ARC Project Applications will be reviewed and approved or disapproved by the ARC throughout the month as they are received. Online applications are encouraged via the THHA website.
Paper applications can be submitted, but may be subject to delays in processing. For emergencies, (storm damage etc), call any committee member.
There is a $25 application fee which is waived if your application is submitted and approved prior to starting work.

- Mitchell 333 St Andrews Drive, reroute rainwater away from garage to storm sewer. Approved by the drainage Committee and WsmCty Road Dept. Approval contingent on identification of underground utilities, licensed contractor and signed letter from neighbor allowing access.
- Hiskey 202 Heatherset Place, replace leaking half round window with new.
The following ARC Project Requests were reviewed at the monthly ARC meeting for December 2022:

- Nickoli, 109 Oakland Hills Drive. Replacement of vinyl siding and dryvit with cement board. Faux stone veneer above ground level, replace matching windows, paint SW7069 “Iron Ore”.
- Seeronen, 101 Bramley Close. Replacement roof, “weathered wood”
- Alexander, 187 N Berwick Lane. Replace RR tie landscaping with stone, and correct drainage.

- Pohlman, 231 Baltusrol Road. Repaint floor of neck with same.

- Steih 205 Deer Park Lane, Paint exterior brick Alabaster white with black trim.

- Dunsmore, 500 Sandcastle. Rebuild and expand rear deck.
- Young, 203 Heatherset Place add French Door in lieu of sliders on rear deck.
- Searcy, 265 St Andrews Drive. Paint exterior Sea Pearl white.
- Acorn, 298 St Andrews Drive. Construct a screened in porch over existing patio. Licensed Contractor and Building Permit received.
- Maxcey, 241 Baltusrol Road. Rebuild front porch and steps with stamped and colored concrete.
- Houle, 100 Seminole Drive. Add a Hot Tub on patio with privacy fence.
- Legendre, 163 N Berwick. Remove, repair and replace shingles as needed. Flash chimney, repair mortar and add a new chimney cover.
- Benton, 195 N Berwick Lane. Rebuild and replace existing deck with new, and add a gable roof.
